Redistricting plan adopted but not all are happy
IDAHO< The second idaho redsitricting commission today voted unanimously to adopt plan l93 as the new legislative redistricting plan.
Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs told KMVT that the newest plan splts the county three times. And that includes one district that connects part of Twin Falls with Jerome County which he said is not going to make the folks there happy. The commisioners rejected a plan by Randy Hansen that split the county only once. Loebs told us that he plans to meet with the county commissioners next week to discuss what comes next. The commission will have the new map up on their website by monday. Comments ( |
