BOISE, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Rep. Stephen Hartgen (R) District 23 says, "there is no right to camp on public property endlessly without restriction. This is an area of settled laws, it's been litigated before. While people can make a point about what their issues are, they can do that in other ways. It's not a restriction of freedom of speech."

Last Thursday, Idaho House members voted 54 to 16 to boot out the Occupy Boise protestors.

They are camping on the steps of the annex building and other areas of state managed ground.

Representative Hartgen says the protestors will be given "reasonable time" to pack up their sleeping bags.

The bill is now headed to the Senate where the Republican legislator feels it will likely pass.
