TWIN FALLS, IDAHO (KMVT-TV) The 2012 Idaho legislative session just wrapped up its first week. Idaho's governor addressed the legislature at the beginning of the session. Some of his talking point focused on tax cuts and the rainy day fun. It seems legislators are getting right on it. Rep. Stephen Hartgen represents District 23 B. He said, "Things are looking pretty good, we got some decision coming on taxes and reducing taxes and reducing cost of government. Probably a little bit extra work on that. Then I think there'll be some looking at ethics legislation a little bit later in the session. So those are two pretty good accomplishments for the first week." Representative Stephen Hartgen says it seems there is less rhetoric going on. He says everyone seems to be working together. Hartgen doesn't expect a long session this year.
