Twelve year old boy charged with first degree murder of his Dad

POCATELLO, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Tuesday, the charge of first degree murder was filed in Pocatello’s 6th district court against a 12 year old boy. Paul Danielson, 46, was pronounced dead late Friday night at his residence near Swan Lake. According to an autopsy released Monday, Danielson died of Small Caliber wounds to the head. The Bannock County Sheriff’s office says Cord Danielson, 12, the son of the victim, is being charged with first-degree murder.

The 911 call first came to Franklin County but the information was relayed to Bannock County as well according to authorities. Both agencies responded to the shooting call at around 11 p.m. Friday night. The 12 year old remains in the Juvenile Detention center in Pocatello.
