Witness in drug store shooting arrested for theft


BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ Ada County officials say a witness to the
March shooting death of a Meridian attorney is charged with
stealing more than $30,000 from an attorney she worked for last
The Idaho Statesman reports 39-year-old Kandi Hall was arrested
Friday on grand theft and fraud by computer charges Friday after a
warrant was issued for her arrest. She was released from jail after
posting a $100,000 bond. Her arraignment is set for Wednesday.
Ada County prosecutors say Boise police found evidence Kandi
Hall took about $32,000 in payments from clients of an attorney she
worked for between March and November 2010.
Hall's husband, Robert Dean Hall, is charged with first-degree
murder in the March 11 death of attorney Emmett Corrigan. Corrigan
was Hall's employer at the time of his death.
