Burley, Idaho - Margaret Elaine Bruner, age 88, of Billings, Montana, formerly of the Mini-Cassia area, died July 26, 2012, in Billings, Montana.
She was born on July 24, 1924, in Stoystown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Daniel Webster Weaver Sr., and Sadie Marguritte Weaver. Elaine was raised and married in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. She relocated with her husband Laird and their three children to Southern Idaho in 1955, and settled in the Mini-Cassia area where she finished raising her family and lived until 1992. She then moved to Billings, Montana, and resided there until her passing.
She is survived by her brother, Daniel Webster Weaver Jr. Of Stoystown, Pennsylvania; her three children, Barry Wayne Bruner (Helen) of Palm Bay, Florida, Renee Elayne Martin (Brad) of Gilbert, Arizona, and Leon Brooks Burner of Billings, Montana; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 37 years, Laird Kimmel Bruner.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Paul Cemetery with the Rev. Joel Pike officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
