Paul, Idaho - Kenny Albert Stevenson, age 24, passed away too young on Monday, July 30, 2012, in Rupert, following an accident.
He was born March 11, 1988, in Twin Falls, Idaho, and lived most of his life in Paul. He was the son of Scott and Tammy Wheeler Stevenson, and the brother of Casey and Nicole. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a friend to many and loved life, especially farming and snowmobiling.
Kenny attended schools at Paul Elementary, West Minico, and graduated from Minico High School in 2006. He attended Utah State University for a semester before going on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the West Indies and Texas San Antonio Missions. Following his mission, he went to Idaho State University and graduated this spring with a bachelor’s degree in business. He had returned home to his love – farming.
He was an active member of the LDS Church and was serving as Elders Quorum president in the Paul Young Single Adult Branch at the time of his death.
He is survived by his parents, Scott and Tammy Stevenson; his brother, Casey; his sister, Nicole; grandparents, John A. “Bert” and Elaine Stevenson, and Dee and Linda Wheeler; and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Paul LDS Stake Center, 424 W. Ellis St., in Paul, with Bishop Bruce E. Hansen officiating. Burial will be in the Paul Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church.
Kenny loved little children, so in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Primary Children's Medical Center in care of Rasmussen Funeral Home, P.O. Box 878, Burley, ID 83318-0878.

It is never easy to lose someone who has not aged and is ready to go. We lost a sister at 16, and each anniversay reminds of what a wonderful person she was. I am sure this will be the case with you. God must have really needed his talents!!!

I went to school with Kenny from elementary til high school... I don't have a bad memory of him... It's so hard to lose someone so close to our age that we have practically grew up with! He will be missed by many!!! Prayers go out to his family!!!
