Gooding, Idaho - Our beloved “Nana”, Tina Legarreta, passed away to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at her home in Gooding.
She was born on August 2, 1939 in Fairfield, Idaho to William and Birdie Stevens.
Tina married Julian Legarreta on January 9, 1970 in Gooding, Idaho.
She was very proud of her family. Especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
“Throw a rock” Nana, you will forever be missed and always be remembered for your quick wit and personality.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bret Legarreta; one brother, Ernie Stevens; and one sister, Dolores Madsen.
She is survived by: her husband, Julian Legarreta and one daughter, Carla Retherford, both of Gooding, Idaho; her grandchildren, Chance Retherford, Dustin and Amber Vincent, all of Gooding, Idaho, and Tessa Legarreta of Boise, Idaho; her great-grandchildren, Malana, Dane and Coy Vincent of Gooding, Idaho; and one brother, Boyd Stevens of Gooding, Idaho.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Gies and the staff of Associates in Family Practice, as well as the entire staff of North Canyon Medical Center.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Gooding.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Gooding.
