Rupert, Idaho - Mary LaRayne Sharples, was born Aug. 21, 1955, to G. Lamar and Elizabeth Sharples. She peacefully left this earth Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.
She was the mother of two wonderful boys, Micky (Angie) Hansen and Blu Hansen, and the grandmother to Kylee, Abbie and Kaylie Hansen. She leaves behind the love of her life, Tommy Carpenter; her father, Lamar (DeeLynn) Sharples; brother, Richard; sisters, Bethann (Alan) Skougard, Karen (John) May, Cindy and Glenda; Tommy’s parents, Jim and Elena Carpenter; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Sharples.
She had a special love for her kitties. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with her Tommy.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Hansen Mortuary, 710 Sixth St. in Rupert. Burial will follow at the Rupert Cemetery. A gathering for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
