Hollister, Idaho - Brenda Gail (Sessions) Reed, 61, of Hollister, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at home after a long battle with many medical problems.
She was born Dec. 17, 1950, in Florence, S.C. She graduated from high school in Jacksonville, Fla. While growing up in Jacksonville, Fla., Brenda was a talented classical pianist who performed many recitals at the Riverside Women’s Club.
She loved to fish, travel and spend time with her grandchildren and family. Brenda’s two favorite places she traveled to in her life were Key West, Fla., and Jarbidge, Nev.
Brenda worked as executive assistant for her father’s insurance agency and for the vice president of CSX Technologies Division in Jacksonville, Fla.
She actively donated her time to many non-profit organizations in the North Florida area and with active-duty Navy families.
Surviving is her husband, Danny Reed of Hollister, Idaho; brother, Phillip Sessions of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Alaina Robinson of Tampa. Fla.; stepsons, Damon and wife, Breze Reed of Puyallup, Wash., and Jason Reed of Nampa, Idaho; niece, Jessica Tatum of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Alysen Springer of Hollister, Idaho, Jennifer Springer, Isaac and Samantha Reed of Puyallup, Wash., Lexi Reed of Buhl, Idaho, and Monique Reed of Homedale, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Cameron Patrick Reed; and her parents, Joseph and Frances Sessions; brother, Mark Sessions; and mother-in-law, June Dobbs.
No services or memorial are planned as per Brenda’s wishes.

Brenda was always so full of life. We will miss her, and know that the world will not be the same without her. Our hearts go out to you.
