Wendell, Idaho - Florence Tina Achenbach Fuller, 94, of Wendell, passed away Tuesday, October 9, at the Lincoln County Care Center in Shoshone.
She was born December 13, 1917, in Obsidian, Idaho, the youngest daughter of Emanuel Frank and Nancy Ellen (Scott) Achenbach. her family moved to the Magic Valley, settling in Jerome, where Florence graduated from Jerome High School in 1937, Following high school, she attended Twin Falls Business College, then worked for the Fire Companies Adjustment Bureau in Twin Falls.
She met and married George Fuller in 1939. She quit her job and they eventually moved to Wendell, where she lived until her death.
Florence was a member of the Grange (Patrons of Husbandry) for over 65 years, and was a member of the Desert Hills Community Church of the Nazarene in Gooding. She was a full-time homemaker all her married life. She loved crafts and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Timothy D. Fuller (Ann) of Shoshone, two granddaughters, Holly Fuller Oliver of Austin, TX, Deborah Fuller Drain of Twin Falls, a grandson, David Fuller of Caldwell, and a great grandson and granddaughter.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George, and her five sisters and four brothers.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, October 15, 2012 at Desert Hills Community Church of the Nazarene in Gooding, with Pastor Ken Bergstrom officiating. Burial will follow at the Wendell Cemetery in Wendell.
