Jerome, Idaho - Vernon Theodore (Ted) Homan passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, in Twin Falls.
He was born March 30, 1927, in Kimberly, Idaho, the fifth of nine children of Bernard and Erma Butler Homan. He attended Eden and Jerome schools, joined the Navy during World War II and served on the destroyer USS McKean. After the war, he married Esther Johnson and was a farmer fora time.He worked for Universal frozen Foods in Twin Falls and retired from the North side Canal Company in Jerome.
He is survived by his son, Tony (Susie); grandson, Ryan; granddaughter, Pam (Justin) Edwards); and three great-children. He is survived by a sister, Irene Cartwright of Boise, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers, Bernard and Robert; five sisters, Fern Gabhart, Emma Andree, Kathyrn Childers, Vivian Lippman and Dorothy Young; and an infant son, Timothy.
At his request, no service will be held.
