Flora was born July 27, 1937, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Charles W. and Pearl Krumm. In 1953, she met Thomas “Sam” Overacre at her parents’ grocery store in Hagerman, Idaho. They were married Aug. 1, 1954, at the Methodist Church in Hagerman. They lived in Washington, California, Texas and Idaho. In 1978, Flora and Sam established the Overacre Insurance Agency in Kimberly, Idaho. Retiring in 1996, Flora and Sam spent several years enjoying the winter months in Mesa, Ariz.
The Overacres suffered the loss of two sons throughout their marriage. In March 1963, their second son, Mitchell, died at the age of 5 in an accident at the family home. In April 1995, their oldest son, Monte, died at the age of 39 in an airplane accident in Central America. Flora was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam in February 2012; her parents; her brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Mary Krumm; and two granddaughters, Bethany and Emily. Flora is survived by her brother, Dale Krumm (Eileen) of Buhl; two sons, Eddie Overacre (Julie) and David Overacre (Christina); and two daughters, Trina Plew (George) and Janey Overacre. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She always stayed in close contact with her grandchildren and loved them each so much. She loved talking with them and giving her loving advice and laughing with them often. She was a very strong woman who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She had a prayer box that she would write down prayers for them. She would say each of their names in her prayers — Chase, Scott, Mary Jo, JJ, Sara, Aaron, Samuel, Brady, Amanda, Mitchell, Austin, Mattie, Gracie, Miranda and Desi.
Flora will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Flora was a member of the United Reform Church in Twin Falls, Idaho. Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Flora to Hospice Visions or the Humane Society in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Rosenau Funeral Home in Twin Falls. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Rosenau Funeral Home.

It was just a few short months ago that I was talking to her at Bridgeview. I had not seen her for years and yet she immediately knew who I was and even asked about Doug and the kids. She really was a special lady! So sorry for your loss!
