Richfield, Idaho - Joshua Alexander Maynard, 7, a resident of Richfield, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his home in Richfield.

Joshua was born February 17, 2005, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Greg and Nikki Perron Maynard.

Joshua was attending the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind in Gooding.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Joshua is survived by his loving parents, Greg and Nikki Maynard; 1 brother, Gregory Scott, Jr.; and 1 sister, Lindsay Rose; all of Richfield, Idaho; as well as many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by 1 brother, Nathaniel Ryan; his great-grandparents; aunts; and uncles.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, January 25, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Richfield, with visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Shoshone Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Joshua’s name be made to The Joshua Alexander Maynard Memorial Fund, and may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone Chapel.

To the maynards. I'm so so sorry for you loss of a cute and sweet little boy. Your son was my sons first friend. Josh was so dedicated to Masen and Hallie there first years of school together. I will miss seeing you Nikki and Josh at ISDB parties!
