Twin Falls, Idaho - Beverly Katheran Hanson Huddleston passed from this world to the next Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.
She was born June 20, 1938, in Miles City, Mont., to Edd C. and Iva K. Hanson. In 1951, the family moved to Kimberly, Idaho, and she graduated from Kimberly High School in 1956. Bev was the pianist for the Kimberly Christian Church and attended and graduated from the Twin Falls Business College. She married Bud Huddleston on Aug. 23, 1957. She and Bud had four children, Libby (Brian) Efaw, Joyce (Dub) Huddleston-Shawhan, Jerry Huddleston and Janet (Harold) Stone. Bev has four grandsons and one granddaughter. Her family was the light of her life.
Bev is survived by Bud, her husband of 55 years; three daughters, Libby Efaw, Joyce Huddleston-Shawhan and Janet Stone; sister, Sandy (Bill) Hacking; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hanson; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Iva Hanson; brother, Duane Hanson; son, Jerry Huddleston; and grandparents, Arthur and Nellie Sharrah and John and Anna Hanson.
Bev was a member of the Community Christian Church in Twin Falls.
In lieu of flowers, please make your contribution to the Human Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or your favorite charity.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the home of Sandy Hacking, 1076 Parkway Drive in Twin Falls.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dustin Godfrey and the staff at Rosenau Funeral Home.
