Barbara Jo Darnall

Filer, Idaho - Barbara Jo Darnall, 70, of Filer, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at St. Luke’s hospital in Twin Falls. Barbara was born March 14, 1942, in Wendell, Idaho, the second of six children born to Fred S. Kiser and Pauline Alexander Kiser. Barbara attended school in Jerome and graduated from Jerome High school in 1960. She married Victor Darnall in Jerome on October 30, 1966. Barbara worked for Troy National Laundry, now Ameripride Linen for 34 years. She also worked for Kmart for three years prior to this last bout of cancer. She loved working there. The main loves in her life beside Vic were her children and grandchildren. She and Vic were very involved with all of the kid's activities. Barbara and Vic spent many summer days playing their favorite sport, golf. Barbara is survived by her husband Vic and her children; Rodell and Nikki Darnall of Quincy, Wash., Suna and Randy Hunsaker of Buhl and John and Jamie Darnall of Filer. She is also survived by sisters Muriel and Dave Pettit of Burley, Sherry and John Jaca of Jordan Valley, Ore, brothers, Rex and Sandy Kiser, and Scott and Dana Kiser of Richland, Ore, and her other golfing companion, Rags. Barbara was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and one sister, Dixie. Barbara touched many lives and will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
A visitation will be held Thursday evening, January 31, 2013, at the Filer Church of the Nazarene, 301 Main Street, Filer, Idaho, where family and friends may call from 6-8 P.M. A Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday February 1, 2012, also at the Filer Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls, Idaho. Barbara's family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her name to: Filer Fire Relay for Life, P.O.
