Oliver Bert “Jack” O’Dell, 67, of Twin Falls passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his home in Twin Falls.
Jack was born on November 10, 1945 in Twin Falls, Idaho the son of Oliver and Edna Marie Howard O’Dell. He grew up and attended schools in Twin Falls.
Jack married Judy Adams and celebrated 43 years of marriage together. They spent their life in Hansen and Twin Falls.
Jack enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed family gatherings at the house barbequing, making the famous Jack Burger. He also enjoyed spending time on the Salmon River steelhead fishing and salmon fishing. You could find Jack in his shop tinkering and fixing things. Jack loved to help family and friends fix anything he could.
Jack will be greatly missed, he was enjoyed greatly by family and friends. Jack no matter where he was he made friends wherever he went.
Jack, Uncle, Dad: will be missed and was known as The Chief!!
Jack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy O’Dell; his daughters, Julie (Wes) Powell and Pam (Ed) Coutts; his sister, Edna O’Dell Shumaker; as well as his nieces and nephews, Randy and Tanya O’Dell; Melvin O’Dell; Shelbie O’Dell (Jerry) Scovill; Brock O’Dell; Johnny Ball’s and family; Jeremy and Brandi O’Dell and boys and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jackie O’Dell; two brothers, Jerry O’Dell and Jim O’Dell as well as one sister, Betty Emerson.
At Jack’s request there will be no public service. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
