Twin Falls, Idaho - Sydney Alyssa Coley was born June 22, 2005, and returned to her heavenly home on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
She brought many happy times to our lives. She taught us how to be positive in the face of affliction. She taught us how to endure to the end and do so happily. She was the one to bring a smile to every person’s face. She lifted everyone she met. All who were around her desired to be better. Each time she entered a room, it became brighter just because she was there. Her happy and cheerful disposition caused those around her to have hope. Her laugh was contagious and one could not help but laugh with her.
We would like to thank the many people, both in our ward family and in the community, which have fasted and prayed for our sweet little girl. We are grateful for all of the support. Thanks to the wonderful medical staff that cared for her. They were all very kind and took an unselfish interest in her well-being. Sydney was preceded in death by her brother, Wyatt; and is survived by her mom, Jonnel; dad, Duane; and sister, Brittnia; as well as by both sets of grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the LDS South Stake Center, 541 Orchard Drive in Twin Falls, Idaho, with viewing an hour prior. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park.” Services are under the direction of Lance Cox and staff.
Friends may leave messages for the family by visiting www.whitemortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Sydney’s name and given to funeral home staff.
