Sunset, Utah- Donna Rae Bagley Herfel, 66, of Sunset, Utah and formerly of Jerome, passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at her home. She was born July 12, 1946 in Wendell, Idaho, the daughter of Jesse Lovone Bagley and Loretta May Thorne Bagley. Donna was raised and educated in Jerome. She married Duane Herfel and they raised two sons, Dee Delon Herfel and Duane Scott "Wayno" Herfel. They lived in Kimberly, Jerome, Brigham City, Utah and presently Sunset, Utah. Donna was an excellent seamstress and also ran Projects Plus Crafts store. She had a special place in her heart for the foster children she and Duane helped and the Durfee family. Donna dedicated her life to making the lives of others pleasant, through hard work and good times. She especially enjoyed family gatherings.
Donna is survived by her husband, Duane; their sons, Dee Delon Herfel of Sunset, Utah and Duane Scott "Wayno" (Sidney) Herfel of Lehi, Utah; seven grandchildren, Kaydee, Josh, Kaysha, Jaylynne, Alissa, Isaac and Ethan. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean (Rick) Powers, June (Jerry) Haney and Debbie Schvaneveldt; her brother, Charles (Lorinda) Bagley; and many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Donna will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held Thursday evening, May 23, 2013, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday May 24, 2013, in the Jerome LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 825 East Avenue B, Jerome, with Bishop Gary Radford officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Jerome Cemetery.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
