Heyburn, Idaho - Matilde Ybarra Rodriguez, 58, of Heyburn, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.
He was born July 7, 1954, in Britt, Iowa, to Emilio and Diamantina Ybarra Rodgriguez.
He is survived by his three children, Markos (Cara) Rodriguez and family, Irene (Kenny) Thomas and family and Matilde Milo Rodriguez (Alyssa Goffinet-Rodriguez) and family; grandchildren, Kia, Kennah, Jayden, Miah and Jaxon; siblings, Anita Imperial and family, Alma Rodriguez and family, and Julia (Ventura) Canales and family, all of Phoenix, Ariz., Sylvia Valles and family of Glendale, Ariz., David (Tina) Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez and family, Angie (Alex) Garcia and family, Emilio (Marta) Rodriguez and family, Blanca (Walter) Hupko and family, all of Ogden, Utah, Hilda (Rick) Alverado and family, Robert Rodriguez and family, all of Heyburn, Idaho, and Mario Rodriguez of Twin Falls, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Pieve Rodriguez; mother, Diamantina Ybarra Rodriguez; and sister, Connie Rodriguez.
He loved going fishing and camping, spending time with his family and working on cars. He had a green thumb anyone would be jealous of. He was always quick with a comeback and a smile that could melt your heart. He will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.
A service was held July 2. Arrangements were under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
