Died: July 12, 2013 in Twin Falls, Idaho
Twin Falls, Idaho - James (Jim) Hugh Ray passed away unexpectedly July 12, 2013 at his home. It will be his great joy to join his beloved wife, Sharon, who passed away in 2003 and who he greatly missed.
Born to Kenneth and Maxine Ray, Jim grew up in California. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 and was stationed at Kirkland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, N.M. It was during this time he met Sharon, and they wed Feb. 23, 1957. Jim left the service shortly thereafter, and they moved to California where Denise was born. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Oregon where Deborah was born in 1962 and Michael was born in 1963. The family then moved to New Mexico for a bit, then settled in Twin Falls in 1966.
Jim is survived by his three children; granddaughter, Jennifer and her two daughters, Kaitlyn and Hailee; granddaughter, Rebecca; his brother, David and wife Barbara, their daughter, Robin and her husband, Chris and children, Eli, Zach and Cooper; and a grandnephew, Cody; as well as extended family members in other states. Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon; his parents; Sharon’s parents; and his niece, Pam (daughter of David and Barbara and mom to Cody).
Dad did not want any service and he wasn’t much into flowers but a donation to the local animal shelter would please him. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread where mom’s ashes were spread at their favorite camping spot up north. We will miss you greatly, dad.
Cremation services were entrusted to the care of White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park.”
