Burley, Idaho - Our loving mother, Loretta Kathleen “Kathy” Moncur, 63, a resident of Burley, Idaho, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.
Our sweet little mama was born Aug. 11, 1950, the second child of H. “Wally” Harris and Loretta Lowry Harris. Kathy was a compassionate, loving child. Her marriage to Robert M. Moncur was sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on Sept. 4, 1971. Their marriage was based on hard work, respect and love for each other. Together, they raised their family with gospel standards and a firm belief in Jesus Christ. Our sweet mother had many talents and was willing to share quilts, music, home-baked bread and many other charitable gifts.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Robert M. Moncur. She leaves behind her sisters, Theresa Guanche and Beverly Lallman; her brother, Donald Harris; her children, Gary Robert, Ann, David Glen (Misty) and Brian H.; her two grandchildren, Zachary David and Kamrynn Leigh; her adopted children whom she joyfully reunited with sons, Kris and Kevin Stohl; and daughter, Lori Crandall. Kathy leaves behind many other loved ones and relatives. She will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at the Burley LDS West Stake Center, 2420 Parke Ave., with Bishop Ty Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Paul Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Thursday evening, Sept. 12, at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 S. Highway 24 in Rupert, and 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday morning at the church prior to the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jerry and I would like to express our deepest sympathies to Bev and her sister at this time. I knew Kathy when I lived in that area and she was always so kind, happy and a joy to visit with. We are so sorry for your loss Bev.
