Wendell, Idaho - Chasity Jean Pearson Murdock, 27, of Wendell and formerly of Hagerman, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday September 16, 2013, in Jerome, following injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born at home in Hagerman, Idaho on January 2, 1986, the daughter of Michael Matthew Pearson and Jonetta Fern Terherst. Chasity was raised in Hagerman and attended Hagerman High School. After high school, Chasity went to work with her Dad in construction for some time. Upon meeting Ben Murdock, Chasity was able to devote herself to being a full-time stay at home Mother and Wife, responsibilities she excelled at.
Chasity never shied away from any obstacle and enjoyed taking on the challenges of being a homemaker. She spent time working in daycare, but told her family from her youth that she wanted to be a mortician. She was very involved in Cub Scouts and served as a Den-Mother, Sunday School teacher, and volunteered for countless school activities for her children, including being a Room-Mother at Wendell Elementary. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and was very skilled in the art of "Socializing."
Chasity is survived by her companion, Ben Murdock, of Wendell; their children, Benjamin, age 2, Aspen Irene, (4), Zander, (9); stepchildren, Jon, (13), Christina,( 16) , Bryndehh, (19), and Ashley,( 21); one step-grandson, Raidyn; her parents, Mike (Lynette) Pearson and Jonetta (Terry Blevins) Terherst; her siblings, Sheldon Pearson, Deserae Rue, Sheridan Pearson, Elijah Twitchell, Ovvie Burley, Holly Pearson, Jill Pearson and Charity Pearson-Johnston; and many extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Chasity's life will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday September 21, 2013, at Christian Center of Hagerman, 2750 South 900 East, Hagerman, Idaho. Interment will follow in the Hagerman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Chasity's family suggests that memorials be made in her name to a trust fund established for her children under: "Mom's Three Little Angels," at any Wells-Fargo Bank branch. Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
