Died: September 22, 2013 in Burley, Idaho
Age: 53 years old

Burley, Idaho – Cynthia (Cindy) Rae Asher (Riedlinger) joined her mother in heaven and went to receive the promise given to her “no more sorrow, no more pain” on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013. She was 53-years-old.

Cindy was born on Aug. 18, 1960, in Burley, Idaho, to Herbert and Irene (Hoff) Riedlinger. She resided in the Mini-Cassia area for the rest of her life. She was the oldest of three daughters and graduated from Minico High School in 1978. She worked in a variety of places including Kentucky Fried Chicken and Stokes. However, her true passion came in waiting tables and being a manager at Price’s Café and Connor’s Café. She was a very hard worker but enjoyed visiting with customers and made an abundance of friends doing what she loved best. She participated in getting a team together every year for Relay for Life and was a member of the Paul Baptist Church. In her extra time, Cindy enjoyed playing softball, canning, gardening, cross stitching, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, and riding along on the truck.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Boyd Asher; her children, Melissa (Kenner) Wodskow of Burley, Ryan Kenner of Rupert, Amanda Jones of West Jordan, Utah, and Steven Hansen of Boise; six grandchildren, McKenzie Smith, Braxton Wodskow, Cheyenne Wodskow, Jason Kenner, Talon Jones, and Alexus Kenner; two sisters , Patty Poulton and Michelle Smith both of Paul; four nieces, Micaela Poulton, Alexandria Poulton, Kirsten Smith, and Emily Smith; her dad, Herbert Riedlinger; mother-in-law, Joyce Christenson; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Riedlinger; her grandparents, John and Emma Riedlinger and Adam and Freda Hoff; and several aunts and uncles.

Cindy endured five hard years after a brain aneurism, so her family would like to thank the many care givers, nurses, and doctors at the Mini-Cassia Care Center, and St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls for their compassion and support while caring for Cindy and her condition.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the Paul First Baptist Church, 25 North 4th East, in Paul, with the Rev. Warren Rachele officiating. Burial will be in the Paul Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Paul First Baptist Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
