Jim C. Clark
Twin Falls, Idaho - James Clinton “Jim” Clark, 66, of Buhl, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at home with his wife, Karen and his niece, Tracy Hulse at his side.
Jim was born on January 8, 1947 at Twin Falls, Idaho to Don and Barbara Dennis Clark. He attended schools in Corral and Buhl, graduating from Buhl High School in 1965. Jim married Karen Larson on December 21, 1968 in Twin Falls, Id. Jim and Karen honeymooned on the Dilts Ranch, later settling in Buhl. They had two children, Jill and Reid. Jim worked for his uncle, Glen Clark, on road construction and later went to work for the Buhl Highway District. He also farmed and built fence. Jim & Karen were in a cattle partnership for many years with his parents. Annual brandings were always enjoyable for family and friends. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Jim never met a stranger and always helped anyone with any need they had.
Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Clark of Buhl; his daughter, Jill (Shawn) Zollinger of Burley; his son, Reid Clark of Battle Mountain, Nev.; four grandchildren, Clinton, Kendall Anne, Jace, and Lane; his mother, Barbara Clark of Buhl; three sisters, Donna (Jim) Lynch, Joyce (Gary) Bybee, and Norma (Gary) Huggins all of Buhl; his brother, David (Susan) Clark of Springfield, Ore, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many, many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Clark; special uncle, Darwin Clark, and two infant siblings.
Per Jim’s wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held next summer.
