Paul, Idaho - Becky Lynn Covington-Mortensen, 44, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Minidoka Memorial Hospital.
Becky was born June 26, 1969, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Stephen L. Caldwell and Brenda L. Toms. She married Keith Covington in 1989 and later divorced. She then married Jay Mortensen in 2004 and later divorced. Becky lived in Salt Lake City until 2004 when she moved to Paul, Idaho. Becky worked as a florist in Salt Lake City and also as a preschool teacher. After moving to Paul, she worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart. She loved meeting all the people.
Becky is survived by her children, Brittney and Nicholas; parents, Michael and Brenda Toms of Paul, Idaho; grandparents, Glen and Ruth Mecham of Rupert, Idaho; brother, Kenneth (Kristine) of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Kassie of Longview, Wash., Michelle (Steve) of Boise, Idaho, Yvonne (Scott) of Heyburn, Idaho; and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her biological father, Stephen L. Caldwell.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the directions of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the first responders and the medical staff of Minidoka Memorial Hospital for their care of Becky. In lieu of flowers, there has been an account set up at First Federal.

We were so truly sorry to hear about the lose of this most beautiful lady. Becky we know she will be missed. But hold on to the wonderful memories that she left you. love the fuentes.
