American Falls, Idaho - Eunice Hope White Neiwert 71, died November 8 at her home in American Falls, Idaho surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Gooding, Idaho on August 10, 1942. She grew up in Gooding and went to school there. After school she moved to Jerome for a short time where she met and married Ted Madson. They have four children: Terry Vanhoosen, Paul Madson, Tami Fletcher and Shane Madson. They were later divorced.

On November 29, 1975 she married the love of her life, Garold Neiwert and moved first to Shoshone, Idaho where he had a Conoco Station and then to her lifelong home in American Falls, Idaho.

Her husband, Garold worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and during the last 16 years of his job traveled as a maintenance worker, and she would travel some of that time to be with him. The last 6 years before his retirement they spent a lot of time at North Platte, Nebraska.

Eunice is survived by her husband, children, stepchildren KC Yang and Travis Neiwert, 13 grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren; sister Clara Jean Olson, Fallon, Nevada and brother Carl White from Sandy, Utah.

Eunice was preceded in death by her mother and father Gene and Dorothy White, and brothers Darald White and LeRoy White; and many Aunts and Uncles in the Southern Idaho region.

Eunice was a born entertainer. Her singing and guitar playing thrilled audiences around southern Idaho. She has passed that talent on to her sons Paul, Shane and grandson Dustin who continue to perform. She and brother, Carl, entertained 40+ years at family reunions and other gatherings.
Eunice loved people and animals especially her three dogs. She loved camping and visiting her summer cabin in the mountains at Lava Hot Springs. Most of all she loved her family.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

A dinner for the family and friends will be held at the Episcopal Church in Gooding immediately after the service.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
