of Burley, Idaho
Born: May 2, 1957 in Burley, Idaho
Died: March 1, 2014 in Boise, Idaho
Age: 56 years old

Boise, Idaho - Vincent Jerome Wolf left this world in peace on March 1, 2014. The challenges he faced with his health, due to type 1 diabetes, were met with courage, fortitude, and love for life that was unique to him.

He was a positive and upbeat person who never let his health challenges stop him from being a hard worker and a delightfully positive person. To have known a person like Vincent was a true honor. Never was there a person as vibrant, resilient, and elegant, as our Vincent. We thank you for the joy you brought to all our lives.

Vincent was born to Tad and Mildred Wolf on May 2, 1957, in Burley, Idaho. He spent his childhood in Burley and was blessed with a musical talent for the piano and organ that was admired by his family and many people throughout the community. It was like hearing an angel play when his fingers touched the keys.

He graduated from Burley High School in 1975 and attended the University of Idaho where he completed his degree in architecture in 1980. His design abilities led him to architectural firms in Boise, Idaho, Phoenix, Ariz., and Los Angeles, Calif., until his health restricted his career. He resided in Burley, Idaho, until 2005. He was instrumental in design and remodeling plans for some of the most magnificent homes in the area. He was able to relocate to Boise that same year, where he enjoyed his personal independence and the city aura that was so important to him. Along with his many talents, he was an avid gardener and was an exemplary floral designer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tad B. Wolf; his grandparents, Elmer and Annie Mackie of Declo, Idaho, and Truman and Gladys Wolf of Burley; and his honorable uncles, Mike Novosel, Johnny Novosel, and Bill Novosel.

Vince is survived by his mother, Mildred Mackie Wolf of Burley; his brothers, Greg Wolf (Pam) of Hope, Idaho, Doug Wolf (LaUna) of Boise, and Chris Wolf (Shawna) of Burley; his sister, Therese Ann Wolf of Boise; his nephews, Damon Wolf, Jeremy Wolf, Kelly Wolf, and Chad Wolf; his nieces, Michelle Hurley and Tara Wolf; his cousin, John Novosel (Becky); and several other second cousins.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at the St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 1601 Oakley Ave., in Burley, with the Rev. Father Julio Vicente as celebrant. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 12 noon followed by a viewing to be held prior to the funeral Mass.

Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley, Idaho, is honored to serve the family.
