Jerome, Idaho - LaVora L. Rue Dean Lowman, 71, of Jerome, died Saturday March 15, 2014 in Pocatello. She was born January 16, 1943 in Twin Falls, the daughter of Albert L. and Dora Thomas Rue. LaVora married Darwin F. Dean on March 3, 1962 and they raised three children, Darla, Louis and Lonnie. On February 7, 1987, she married Oliver Lowman and they made their home in Jerome. LaVora Spent many years working at Tupperware, Clear Springs Trout Company and Max’s Chevron. She worshipped at Jerome Bible Baptist Church. LaVora enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be missed by all.
LaVora is survived by her husband, Oliver, of Jerome; her children, Darla (Scott) Cunningham, of Kuna, Louis (Jill) Dean, of Jerome, and Lonnie Dean of Shelton, Washington.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roger Rue.
A visitation will be held Saturday evening, March 22, 2014, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Sunday March 23, 2014, at the Jerome Bible Baptist Church, 132 2nd Avenue East, Jerome, with Pastor Rodney Woodcock, presiding. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday march 24, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2296 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
