Shoshone, Idaho - Johnathon Earl Jackson, 32, a resident of Shoshone, Idaho, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Johnathon was born on December 7, 1981 in Reno, Nevada, the son of Terrilynn and Bruce VanOstrand. He was raised and educated in Reno.
Johnathon is survived by: his parents, Terrilynn and Bruce VanOstrand of Shoshone; two sons, Jared (7) and Evan (5); a daughter, Isabella (6); three brothers, Jeremiah Jackson and Ricky Hepner, both of Reno, Nevada and Greg Hepner of Branson, Missouri; and three sisters, Sonja Kelley of Shoshone, Idaho, Andrea Hepner of Branson, Missouri and Desiree Jackson of Reno, Nevada. Johnathon was recently engaged to Ashley Burnett of Gooding and was very close to her and her family including her children, Shawn (6), Dawson (2 1/2) and Triston (1 1/2).
He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Hepner; and his Nana, Dorothy Romaine.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be held with the date and time to be announced.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone Chapel.
