Michael Anthony Nedbalek, 24 of Twin falls, Idaho was taken from his family and friends at the young age of 24, on December 20, 2009. He was recovered and returned to his family on March 6 2010.

Mike was born July 11, 1985 in Twin Falls and grew up primarily in Boise, Idaho. He later returned to the Twin Falls and Buhl area where he spent the remainder of his young life.

As a child, Mike enjoyed many sports such as baseball, football and martial arts. He enjoyed anything that was outdoors, including swimming, camping and just lounging in the sun.

Within the last couple of years Mike received his CNA certification and really enjoyed taking care of others. We have been told by many that he was a wonderful caregiver and had a big heart for those he cared for.

He is survived by his wife, Mariea Nedbalek; a daughter, Krissy; mother and step-father, Tracie and Mel Ricketts of Boise; biological father, Eric Holtry of Kuna: sisters, Cindi and Carissa of Boise; brothers, Danny of Marsing and Spencer of Nampa; step siblings, Michael and Katrina of Boise; grandmothers, Karen Nedbalek and Shannon Holtry; great grandfather, Ed Mohr; uncles, Matt Nedbalek and Bryce Holtry; an aunt, Heather Holtry; three nephews, one niece and many more extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Naomi Mohr and his grandfather, Donald Nedbalek.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the Jerome County Search and Rescue and all those involved with the recovery of our dear Mike.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Idaho Meth Project or to your local recovery center.

A memorial service will be held for Michael at 3:30pm, Monday, March 15, 2010 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 464 Carriage Lane N., Twin Falls. Cremation is under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.
