Another local athlete is taking her game to the next level. On Wednesday, Twin Falls volleyball player Erica Ford signed her letter of intent to play for Concordia University in Portland. The senior will be a defensive specialist for the Cavaliers. Ford says the decision was an easy one for her.
"It's just the right fit. I just got that after I went on my recruiting visit, that it was just a place where I thought I could me more successful academically in the classroom, and I would be very successful on the court. So, everything just felt like I was where I was supposed to be. So, it feels awesome," Ford said. "I've been waiting for a while to take that next step and go to that next level of play. I'm ready for that now."
Ford says she is excited to be playing at the next level, especially after she had to sit out a while two years ago following back surgery.
