The big smaller school District Track Meet kicked off today in Buhl, as the 1A and 2A track athletes converged to compete for top spots at next weeks 2008 State Track Invitational at Boise State University.

Three 2A teams and 14 1A teams participated in the two-day event, whittling down the competition to a few spots to make a championship run at the state level.

Preliminary event were held this afternoon, with final events wrapping up Thursday afternoon.
