The Twin Falls Bruins accumulated one of the best records in the High Country Conference and swept their way through the conference last week. But those records went out the window on Thursday as the Bruins faced Lake City in the opening round of the State 2008 Championships.

Twin Falls only put up one run, and it was too little, too late, coming in the sevth inning. The Lake City Timberwolves hammered away at the Bruins, powering two home runs in the 6-1 victory.
