The Minico Spartans earned a hard fought victory over the Mountain Home Tigers in opening round action on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers took the early 2-0 lead, but the Spartans rebounded, taking the first round playoff 5-4.

Minico advances for the second year straight, hoping to duplicate last year's run that put them in Saturday's title game.
