Twin Falls Cowboys vs Jerome Cyclones

The young Cowboys battled to a stalemate with the Jerome Cyclones through the first four innings of play on Tuesday. But the 'Pokes turned up the heat in the late innings, rallying to a 6-1 win in game one.

The Cowboys and Cyclones battled in game two as well. The Cowboys would earn a hard-fought 8-7 victory to get the sweep in the doubleheader.

The Cowboys host their annual Donnelley Sports Wood Bat Invitational starting on Thursday afternoon.


Twin Falls Cowboys vs. Idaho Falls Russets

The elder Cowboys were on the road for a doubleheader in Idaho Falls against the Russets.

It was all Cowboys on the east side. They jumped all over the Russets in game one, earning a 10-0 victory in five innings. Mitchell Dame picked up the shutout win.

In game two, it was much of the same, as the Cowboys took a 9-0 victory to earn the sweep.

The AA Cowboys are back in action Thursday at Skip Walker Field, hosting Columbia for a doubleheader starting at 6 PM MDT.
