By Paul Johnson

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A very, very light schedule on the high school fields today, with only a few games slated for this afternoon.
Head out to Jerome, where the tigers' softball team welcomes in Buhl for a non-conference showdown.
This was the Bri Pettinger show early, here with the strikeout.
Then providing her own offense in the second inning, the shot to right field, one hops the fence, Annie Lauda scores as the Indians lead one-nothing.
A few batters later, a runner on third, Amy Morse the shot at the pitcher, who knocks it down, but the throw to first isn't in time, Casey Gabardi scores and Buhl is up two.
Jerome took a five-three lead late in the game.
But home runs from McKayla Lively and Kenzie Littlefair gave Buhl another lead they would not give back, as they hold on for the seven-five win.
Pettinger added another RBI and only game up two earned runs on the mound.
