Legion Baseball Takes Over Twin Falls Starting Thursday Afternoon

American Legion baseball will take over a few of the baseball diamonds in the Magic Valley beginning on Thursday this week. Twin Falls will host Legion A and AA games at Bill Ingram Field at Twin Falls High School and Skip Walker Field at the College of Southern Idaho. Kimberly will host Legion A games as well at Kimberly High School.
Three local Legion AA teams will take the field starting Friday, aiming for a shot at the state tournament next week in Pocatello. Five local Legion A teams will also take a shot at a state berth, starting on Thursday.
Legion AA
#3 Jerome and #6 Minico will open the tournament on Friday at the Skip at 10 AM MDT. Second-seeded Twin Falls will await the winner of that game for a local showdown at 7 PM MDT at the Skip.
Legion A
#2 Wood River will play the winner of the Burley-Hillcrest matchup at Ingram Field Thursday at 5:30 PM MDT.
#3 Twin Falls will host the winner between Buhl and Bonneville/Marsh Falls on Thursday at 3:00 PM MDT.
# 5 Kimberly will open the tourney at home against the winner between the IF Rangers and the Pocatello Rebels at 10:00 AM MDT.
#6 Buhl will play the winner of the Bonneville-Marsh Falls matchup at 10:00 AM MDT on Thursday at Ingram Field.
#7 Burley will play #10 Hillcrest at 12:30 PM MDT at Ingrma Field as well.
