Twin Falls Fair and Rodeo Opens Thursday With "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" Night

By Jeremy Wayne

The 92nd Annual Twin Falls County Fair and Rodeo is set to open on Thursday evening with the "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" night at 7 PM.

And this year, the rodeo committee is bringing the PRCA circuit to town, with a number of local and regional cowboys and cowgirls looking to collect on the big payday the rodeo offers.

Twin Falls' Pete Jones will return home, hoping to bulldog his way to the top prize in steer wrestling. Former CSI cowboys Cody DeMers (bareback) and Cody Wright (saddle bronc, #2 in nation) will look to return to the area where they learned the game from former Golden Eagle head coach Shaun Davis. Josi Young (bareback), a Kimberly native, will return home as well, looking to net himself a top prize in front of his home crowd. A number of other local cowboys and cowgirls will compete throughout the weekend as well.

The rodeo opens Thursday evening at 7:30 PM at the Filer (Twin Falls County) Fairgrounds.
