BSU Back Johnson Content With Playing A Role

By Jeremy Wayne

10-2-2008

Boise State keeps winning, and it's due in large part to the TEAM effort. The guys know that each plays an integral role in winning each week. Jsut ask Ian Johnson.

Johnson has been the premier back at BSU for the past three seasons, but is taking a different role this year. In Wednesday's game against Louisiana Tech, Johnson had only a few carries for 46 yards. He put up over 100 yards through the air, however, on three receptions from freshman quarterback Kellen Moore. Johnson understands the role each individual plays on the team, and isn't concerned with how many touches he gets, as long as the Broncos keep winning.
