The CSI baseball team got just what it needed on Friday, picking up a pair of wins over Salt Lake. The Golden Eagles got out to an early lead in Game 1, and held onto beat the Bruins 5-3. Game 2 required extra innings to decide a winner. CSI got a walk-off homerun from Garrett Wolff in the bottom of the tenth to take the win, 3-2.
The Lady Golden Eagles found themselves in a dogfight against North Idaho. CSI broke a 0-0 tie in the eighth thanks to an RBI by Erin Olander, and went onto win 1-0. Game 2 was just as exciting, but with a different result. North Idaho just edged out CSI to win, 7-6.
