The sun came out for a pair of double-headers in the Magic Valley on Monday.
In Twin Falls, the Single A Cowboys hosted Wood River for a pair of games. Twin Falls jumped out to an early lead in Game 1, but Wood River managed to make the game interesting. The Cowboys held on though, and took the win, 11-8. Wood River bounced back in Game 2, winning in a darkness shortened game, 8-4.
Out in Buhl, the Tribe hosted Jerome in a double-header. Buhl started off Game 1 on a tear offensively, scoring 12 runs in the first three innings. Pitcher Marcus Lively tallied seven strikeouts in the 12-1 win. The Cyclones battled back in Game 2, and held a one run lead in the final inning. But Buhl capitalized on a pair of Jerome errors, and came back to win, 5-4.
