The action was fast and furious at Magic Valley Speedway...and that was before the races even started.

Crowds braved the wind and rain in the hopes that the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series would take the track for the main event Firecracker 125. And, of course, some mass destruction in the Independence Day trailer race.

In the Firecracker heats, Dave Minegar, John Dillon, and Dylan Caldwell picked up wins. Track owner Eddy McKean finished in third behind Caldwell in the third heat.

In the Pro Truck main event, Kenny Vanderham took the early lead, and held off charges in the late going to earn the main event win.

The Firecracker 125 main event had not been run at press time.
