Snake River Sumo Ready For 2009 World Games In Taiwan

Snake River Sumo is once again taking their game to the international level.

Kelly Gneiting and Trent Sabo will compete again for world titles, this time in Taiwan. Gneiting, a three-time sumo champion, and Sabo, a six-time sumo champion, were in Twin Falls this weekend for a sumo demonstration at the First Assembly of God. From small town to big stage, the guys will compete starting on Thursday at the 2009 World Games in Khaosiung, Taiwan.

Sabo, the 2008 Bronze medalist at the World Championships, competes in the lightweight division, while Gneiting, the US Sumo Champion from 2005-07, competes in the heavyweight division.
