OSPREY MEADOWS GOLF COURSE TO RE-OPEN AT TAMARACK

Meridian, Idaho – The award winning Osprey Meadows Golf Course at the Tamarack Resort near Donnelly, Idaho will re-open for play on Saturday, July 25th. Randy Hopkins, representing the two Hopkins investment funds in West Mountain LLC, announced today that an agreement has been reached with Jean-Pierre Boespflug of Tamarack Resort, LLC that designates Raven Golf Services, LLC as the new course operator for the remainder of the 2009 season. “I’m very happy that West Mountain, the entity that owns the golf course and the majority of the commercial area in the Osprey Lodge, was able to gain the cooperation of Tamarack and the Tamarack Homeowners’ Association to get the golf course open. This will benefit not only the homeowners at Tamarack, but it will also create economic value for Valley County and golf opportunities for Idaho’s golf community.”

“This is great news,” says Jean-Pierre Boespflug, majority owner of Tamarack Resort. “Raven Golf has been an innovator in golf operations in the Treasure Valley and around Idaho. We are delighted to be working with them.”

Raven Golf Services, LLC is owned by Clint Travis, GCSAA and Jerry Breaux, PGA, and is based in Eagle, Idaho. The group also operates MeadowCreek Golf Course near McCall, Teton Reserve Golf Course in Victor, and BanBury Golf Course in Eagle. Hopkins remarked, “We are very pleased to have Clint and Jerry and their team of professionals operating Osprey Meadows. They are knowledgeable in all segments of the golf industry and have over sixty years of combined experience in golf operations.”

Regarding Raven’s operational philosophy, Jerry Breaux said, “our focus will be on exceptional course conditioning and a high level of customer service. We realize that Golf Digest awarded Osprey Meadows ‘Best New Public’ course in 2006 with good reason. Robert Trent Jones designed a great layout and first class golf experience, yet it is relatively undiscovered. With green fee prices ranging from $44 to $64, we will expose this great golf course to a wide variety of clientele.”

Tee times may be booked starting Friday, June 24th at 9:00 AM by calling 208/325-GOLF. Course will remain open until October 25th, weather permitting.
