The University of Idaho football team opens on the road September 3rd at New Mexico State in a game Robb Akey feels is as big as any game the Vandals have played in the last few years. The Vandals handled the Aggies last season at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho, but the challenge of a season opener, on the road, against a conference foe could be a huge step forward, or a big confidence blow, to open the 2009 football season.
