With the high school football season more than halfway over, Magic Valley teams are struggling for conference wins before the playoffs begin.
In the 4A Great Basin West, Twin Falls picked up a key win over Burley, which boosted the Bruins to the top of the standings. The Canyon Ridge Riverhawks helped out their cross-town rivals by defeating Minico, 27-24, in overtime. The victory was a first for Canyon Ridge in its inaugural season. Four other Magic Valley teams also remained unbeaten, as Buhl, Declo, Castleford, and Oakley all picked up wins on Friday night.
