CSI volleyball closes out regular season with big win

The CSI volleyball team closed out the 2009 regular season on Saturday with a 3-1 win over No. 4 Salt Lake Community College.
The Golden Eagles came out firing on all cylinders, quickly gaining a two set advantage over Salt Lake. But the Bruins dug in and forced a Game 4, beating CSI 28-26 in the third set. The Golden Eagles remained calm, however, and dispatched SLCC, 25-21, to take the match. Sophomore standout Jessica Peacock ended her regular season in heroic fashion, leading the Golden Eagles with 14 kills and 5 service aces.
