The Twin Falls football team is returning to the semi-finals for the first time since 2004. On Friday night, the Bruins held off Nampa, 28-21, clinching a spot in the 4A State Semi-finals.
Twin Falls jumped out to an early lead, and then countered a Nampa touchdown with two Bruin scores in the second quarter. The Bulldogs would battle back in the third quarter, and take over the lead from Twin Falls. But the Bruins answered right back with a fourth quarter touchdown, and then shut down the Nampa offense to preserve the win.
With the victory, Twin Falls advances to host Blackfoot next Friday.
