The Twin Falls Bruins found themselves just one step away from the 4A state championship on Friday night. Standing in their way was a very formidable Blackfoot.
The Bruins jumped out of the gates in the first quarter, capping off a long drive when T.J. Ellis hit Jon Pulsifer in the corner of the end zone. The 7-0 lead would not hold up for long though, as the Broncos piled on three quick scores, all on the ground by way of running back Chris Percy. Twin Falls would fight back to within fourteen at one point, but Blackfoot would be too much, as the Broncos took the 47-21 win.
Over in Glenns Ferry, the Pilots had their hands full as they hosted defending state champion Parma. Both teams scored quickly in the first, but when the pace finally slowed, the Panthers imposed their will on Glenns Ferry. Parma would take a 22 point lead into halftime, and ended up coasting to a 49-6 win over the Pilots.
